Complete instructions for requesting the deletion of your personal information on autoasistente.com

1. What data deletion is

Data deletion is the process by which you can request that autoasistente.com permanently remove all of the personal information we have collected and stored about you or your business during your use of our platform.

At Gomez Smart Group LLC (the company that operates autoasistente.com) we respect your right to control your personal information. We comply with applicable data protection regulations, including the requirements of Meta Platform (Facebook and Instagram), WhatsApp Business Platform (including the official BYO-WABA mode with WhatsApp Cloud API) and applicable privacy laws.

This document describes the types of data we store, how you can request its deletion, processing timelines, and what happens to your information once your request has been processed.

2. What data we store

We organize the data we collect into the following categories:

Account Name, email address, password (encrypted), phone number, user role, profile settings, AI assistant preferences, 2FA configuration.
Conversations Message history between the AI assistant and your business's end customers through WhatsApp (QR via WAHA or official WhatsApp Cloud API from Meta), Facebook Messenger, Instagram Direct and the embeddable Web Widget; social media comments (Facebook, Instagram); conversation states, employee assignment, labels, internal notes and CSAT results.
Web Widget Anonymous visitor identifier (visitor_pubid), public IP address, approximate geolocation (city and country), URL of the visited page, pre-chat form data (if configured) and, optionally, the AI provider API key you configured under the BYOK model.
Payments Subscription records, current plan, Stripe identifiers (we do not store full card numbers), invoice history.
Integrations Channel access tokens (WhatsApp Cloud API/Business via BYO-WABA, Facebook, Instagram), inbox configuration, WhatsApp Cloud API templates, automation configuration, Google Workspace resources (Drive, Sheets, Calendar), assigned AI agents, custom employee roles, WhatsApp Marketing campaigns and payment reminders.
Logs and activity Login records, audit events, IP addresses, user agents, support tickets and their messages.
Analytics Statistics on messages sent and received, AI assistant response times, peak activity hours, and dashboard metrics.

3. How to request the deletion of your data

You can request the deletion of your data in two ways:

A

By email

Send an email to [email protected] with the subject "Data deletion request". Our team will process your request and confirm it by email.

B

From the admin panel (recommended)

Log in at app.autoasistente.com and go to My Account. At the bottom of the page you'll find the "Danger Zone" section with the "Delete my account" button. The process works as follows:

  1. Click "Delete my account" and confirm that you want to proceed.
  2. You'll receive a 6-digit code at your registered email address.
  3. Enter the code in the panel to confirm that you are the account holder.
  4. Your account will be scheduled for deletion in 15 days.
  5. During those 15 days you can cancel the deletion from the same section (requires another code by email).
  6. After the 15 days have elapsed, all of your data will be permanently deleted.

What to include in your email request

  • Full name of the account holder.
  • Email address associated with your autoasistente account.
  • Name of the business registered on the platform (if applicable).
  • Account ID or reference (you can find it in your panel, "My Account" section).
  • Description of the specific data you want deleted (or indicate "all data").
  • If the request is on behalf of a business end customer, include the phone number or user identifier.

4. What happens when you delete your data

Once we process your deletion request, your data is handled as follows:

  • Your account information (name, email, phone, encrypted password).
  • AI assistant configuration (bot name, tone, schedule, special instructions).
  • Complete history of conversations and messages.
  • Access tokens and integrations with messaging channels.
  • Products, catalogs, and frequently asked questions (FAQs).
  • Bookings and calendar configurations.
  • Employee permissions and team configuration.
  • Support tickets and their associated messages.
  • Active sessions and authentication tokens.
  • WhatsApp Marketing campaign history.
  • Social media comment data (Facebook, Instagram).
  • Payment reminder records.
  • Dashboard analytics and statistics data.

Data retained temporarily (up to 30 days)

  • Backups: Our backup systems retain data for a maximum of 30 calendar days. After that period, the data is automatically purged from all backups.
  • Processing queue records: Any pending tasks associated with your account will be canceled and purged within the same period.

Data we cannot delete

Due to legal and tax obligations, we are required to retain certain information even after your account is deleted:

  • Invoices and payment records: Tax records are retained for the period required by applicable law (generally 5 years), in accordance with tax and commercial regulations.
  • Anonymized logs: We retain fully anonymized activity logs (with no data that could identify you) for statistical and service-improvement purposes.
  • Data required by court order: If there is an active legal investigation or a court order, the relevant data will be retained as directed by the competent authority.

5. Facebook and Instagram data deletion

Meta Platforms compliance

autoasistente.com is an application registered with Meta for Developers. We comply with all of Meta's data policies, including the obligation to provide a data deletion mechanism for Facebook and Instagram users.

Deletion process via Meta callback

When a user removes the autoasistente connection from their Facebook or Instagram account, Meta automatically notifies us through a Data Deletion Callback URL. The process works as follows:

The user uninstalls the app

From their Facebook or Instagram settings, the user removes autoasistente from their connected apps.

Meta sends us the notification

Meta sends a request to our server with the user's identifier, triggering the automatic deletion process.

We delete the associated data

Our system automatically deletes all data linked to the Facebook/Instagram user ID: access tokens, conversation history, and channel configurations.

Confirmation with a tracking code

We respond to Meta with a confirmation code and a URL where the user can verify the status of the deletion.

Meta data we store

  • Facebook or Instagram user ID (provided by Meta when the app is connected).
  • Access token for the connected Page or professional account (encrypted on our servers).
  • Name of the connected Facebook Page or Instagram account.
  • History of conversations received through Facebook Messenger or Instagram Direct.
  • Automated reply configuration for those channels.

We do not store: profile photos, friend lists, personal posts, stories, or any data that isn't strictly necessary for the AI assistant to function.

Deletion timeline for Meta data

Data associated with Facebook and Instagram is deleted within a maximum of 48 hours after we receive Meta's notification. Backup deletion is completed within the following 30 calendar days.

6. WhatsApp data deletion

autoasistente.com uses the WhatsApp integration to allow AI assistants to serve your business's customers. The WhatsApp data we store includes:

  • Phone number associated with the business's WhatsApp Business session.
  • Connection session data (encrypted credentials).
  • History of conversations between the AI assistant and end customers.
  • Media files received or sent during conversations.

To request WhatsApp data deletion you can:

  • Disconnect the WhatsApp channel from the panel: Channels > WhatsApp > Disconnect. This will delete the active session and access tokens.
  • Request full deletion (including conversation history) by email or by deleting your account.

WhatsApp conversation history is deleted within a maximum of 5 business days after the request. Backups are purged within the following 30 calendar days.

7. Processing timelines

Request type Processing timeline
Deletion from the panel (self-service) Immediate — data is deleted as soon as you confirm the action.
Email request 1 to 5 business days — you'll receive an email confirmation.
Automatic Meta callback (Facebook/Instagram) Up to 48 hours — automated process.
Channel disconnect (WhatsApp) Immediate for tokens; up to 5 days for full history.
Backup deletion Up to 30 calendar days after the primary deletion.

8. Deletion confirmation

Once your deletion request has been processed, we'll confirm it in the following ways:

  • By email: You'll receive a confirmation email at the address associated with your account, indicating that deletion has been completed, along with a summary of the data categories deleted.
  • From the panel: When you confirm with the 6-digit code, you'll receive an email indicating the exact deletion date (15 days). You can cancel the deletion at any time during that period from My Account.
  • For Meta requests: We provide a tracking code and a verification URL that Meta can use to confirm that the data has been deleted.
